Margot – Some historians place the beginning of the twentieth century with World War I, which caused the end of the German, Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian and Russian empires. I also like the photographer-as-sleuth concept, quite appropriate for that era as well.

José Ignacio – This is an era I don’t know enough about, certainly not about how things were in that part of Spain at the time. And I’m interested in the photographer-as-sleuth concept. It sounds like an interesting read, and a solid look at the times.
