Teresa Solana (Barcelona, 1962) latest book Set casos de sang i fetge i una història de amor (Edicions 62) is a collection of short stories that has just been published in Catalan this year. Her first novel, A Not So Perfect Crime, won the 2007 Brigada 21 Prize for best noir in Catalan and has been translated into English, French, German, Italian, Rumanian and Spanish. A Shortcut to Paradise, her second, was short-listed for the 2008 Salambó Prize for best novel in Catalan.
