Plan to read next: Raven Black by Ann Cleeves, Resurrection Men by Ian Rankin, Written in Bone by Simon Beckett and Bloodline by Mark Billingham. So pretty well on track to finish prior 31 December.

Finalists Inaugural Ngaio Marsh Award (1/3)

I’m behind this one. I might not be able to finish since some books are difficult to get hold or too expensive at this point.

Cut & Run by Alix Bosco  TBR

Burial by Neil Cross

Containment by Vanda Symon TBR

Agatha Christie Reading Challenge

I love this challenge which I’ve just joined recently. My aim here is just to read some AC books and write a post. So far I’ve read The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. Planning to read next And Then There Were None.

Manuel Vázquez Montalbán (in Spanish)

My intention here was to read each month one book in order of publication. So far I’m pretty much behind, I’ve only read this year the first four books. Anyhow I plan re-start reading them soon.

Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö: The Martin Beck Series

Since the Spanish publisher started to release two books in the series every year I’m reading them in order. So far the first six books have been published. I still have to read the last one, the second one published this year, Murder at the Savoy.

Looking forward

I have some very exciting books ahead. Just to name a few, besides Gunshot Road, The Devil’s Star, Delincuente Argentino, Affairs of State, No-One Loves a Policeman, La Venganza del Silencio, The Man from Beijing……
