Crime Fiction Alphabet 2011: E is for Ellory, RJ

This week the Crime Fiction Alphabet arrives to letter E and I’ve chosen a new-to-me author. The only reason is my interest on his books. But since I’m currently on a TBR diet, I’m very much afraid I’ll have to wait for a couple of months at least until I can put my hands on one of them. Stay tuned.

RJ Ellory (Birmingham, 1965) is a British writer, author of the bestselling A Quiet Belief in Angels. A Richard & Judy Book Club selection in 2008, was shortlisted for the Barry Award, the 813 Trophy, the Quebec Booksellers Prize, and the winner of the Nouvel Observateur Crime Fiction Prize. His work has been translated into twenty-three languages and he was awarded the 2010 Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year for A Simple Act of Violence. Crime Fiction Alphabet 2011: La E es por Ellory, RJ

Esta semana el Alphabet in Crime Fiction llega a la letra E y he elegido un autor al que no he leído todavía. El único motivo es mi interés por sus libros. Pero como actualmente estoy a dieta con objeto de reducir los libros que tengo por leer (TBR) en mi estantería, mucho me temo que tendré que esperar un par de meses por lo menos hasta que pueda hacerme con alguno de ellos. Permanezca sintonizado.

RJ Ellory (Birmingham, 1965) es un escritor británico, autor de A Quiet Belief in Angels un libro que se vendió muy bien. Fue seleccionado para el Richard & Judy Club en el 2008, finalista del Premio Barry, del 813 Trophy, del Premio de Libreros de Quebec y ganador del Premio de Novela Negra del Nouvel Observateur. Su obra ha sido traducida a veintitrés idiomas y fue galardonado con el 2010 Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year por A Simple Act of Violence.
