Midnight in Paris (2011) a film by Woody Allen

Begoña and I went to see Midnight in Paris a couple of weeks ago. I’ve just realised that I have not written about this film. Well actually there is not much I can say about it but if you love Paris, don’t miss it. I’m sure you’ll want to fly to Paris once finished. I personally don’t think this is Allen’s best but I quite enjoyed it mainly because of Paris. I’ve found IMDb rating (8.1) somehow exaggerated. I wont give it more than a 6.5.

Synopsis: This is a romantic comedy set in Paris about a family that goes there because of business, and two young people who are engaged to be married in the fall have experiences there that change their lives. It’s about a young man’s great love for a city, Paris, and the illusion people have that a life different from theirs would be much better. It stars Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Kathy Bates, and Carla Bruni among others. (Taken from the official website)
