2012 Best Translated Book Award Finalists Named


Two Spanish originals among the fiction finalists to the 2012 Best Translated Book Award:

  • Scars [Cicatrices (Sudamericana, 1969)] by Juan José Saer. Translated from the Spanish by Steve Dolph. (Open Letter)
  • Never Any End to Paris [París no se acaba nunca (Anagrama, 2003)] by Enrique Vila-Matas. Translated from the Spanish by Anne McLean. (New Directions)
