I’m about to finish reading Until Thy Wrath Be Past (MacLehose – Quercus, 2011) by Åsa Larsson and will tackle next:
- I Will Have Vengeance, by Maurizio de Giovanni
- River of Shadows, by Valerio Varesi
- Absolute Zero Cool, by Declan Burke
- Blood Land, by Alan Glynn
- The Rage, by Gene Kerrigan
- The Black Path, by Åsa Larsson
Not necessarily in that order.
I was expecting to buy The Dark Valley, but will wait until the price of the book/ebook becomes affordable. Currently it’s price above € 13.50, free delivery and I don’t think its worth to pay that price. I plan to buy instead:
- The Cold, Cold Ground, by Adrian McKinty
- The Drop, by Michael Connelly
- The Nameless Dead, by Brian McGilloway
- The Impossible Dead, by Ian Rankin
Stay tuned.
José Ignacio – Oh, I hope you’ll like The Black Path. Of course, I am biased, because I really enjoy this series. But I do recommend it. And I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of The Cold, Cold Ground and The Nameless Dead. Oh, and of course The Drop. Yes, you’ve got quite a fine list of upcoming reads I think.
Thank you Margot
Some very good planning choices there, Jose Ignacio! The Dark Valley will be a lot cheaper when in paperback (next year?) and one I found a bit disappointing compared with some of the others on your list.
That’s what I was thinking Maxine. Maybe after reading last year River of Shadows I’ll change my mind, but it seems quite unlikely given the reviews I’ve seen already..
