The valley de la Fuenfría is situated in the western side of the Sierra de Guadarrama near the town of Cercedilla (Community of Madrid). Our route today was to reach el Collado de la Marichiva (1,750 m) from the Fuenfria Hospital (1,287 m), 4 km in ascension.
