As Previously Known in Inner Circles

Icelandic writer Arnaldur Indridason has won today the VII RBA International Prize Award for his novel El Paso de las Sombras. Now I’m trying to figure out the original book title in Icelandic and the English title. He has thus added his name to the list of previous winners: Francisco González Ledesma, Andrea Camilleri, Philip Kerr, Harlan Coben, Patricia Cornwell and Michael Connelly.

P.S.: The original book title is Skuggasund (Shadow Channel), and will be published simultaneously in Icelandic and Spanish in early November.

  1. Agree with previous two comments. Indridason is a favorite author of mine. His books are worthy of many prizes. I still think the Dagger should have been given to him for Hypothermia in the year it was nominated. It is a superb book, which I have and intend to reread.
I wonder what his two books after Strange Shores will contain. It’s a mystery. Can’t wait for these books to be published in English.
