Spaghetti all’assassina, un piatto tipicamente “barès”

Regular or occasional readers of this blog are aware that my interests are many and varied. You’ll probably know of my appreciation for the novels of Gianrico Carofiglio, and, in particular, his Guido Guerrieri Mystery series. Yesterday, I came across the interview published at Crime Review HERE, and I learned that if Carofiglio has eight minutes to prepare a dish, he would choose ‘Spaghetti all’assassina (murderer’s spaghetti), a VERY spicy recipe’. As an ardent devotee of Italian cuisine, I couldn’t resist the temptation and browsing on the Internet I found the recipe HERE, in Italian. And scrolling down you can find the English language version. Very appropriate, I guess, for crime fiction fans.
