The Spanish singer and composer Manolo Tena, emblem of ‘La Movida Madrileña’, has died in Madrid aged 64. Jose Manuel de Tena Tena, better known as Manolo Tena, was born in Badajoz, but grew up in Madrid district of Lavapies. Due to health problems, he decided to put an end to his musical career in 2008. Today, the world of music mourns his loss. May he rest in peace.
