Rosa Ribas at Estudio en Escarlata Bookshop

Ayer, viernes 4 de febrero, tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la presentación del último libro de Rosa Ribas En caída libre (Viceversa, 2011) en la librería Estudio en Escarlata (www.esdudioenescarlata.com). Alicia Platas (aka Alice Silver) y Paco Gómez Escribano hicieron la introduccón de la autora y de su obra. Al finalizar, el público pudo degustar quesos y vinos alemanes y españoles.

Rosa Ribas cautivó a la audiencia por su simpatía, su facilidad de palabra, su personalidad y su fino sentido del humor. Si, como dijo alguien, Rosa Ribas escribe como habla, estoy seguro de que nos proporcionará muchas horas agradables de lectura.

Me encantó conocer a algunos blogeros personalmente. No menciono a ninguno de ellos, por temor de olvidarme de alguno. Un verdadero placer. Espero que nos volvamos a ver.

Yesterday, Friday February 4, I had the opportunity to attend the presentation of Rosa Ribas latest book En caída libre (At Free Fall) at Estudio en Escarlata bookshop (www.esdudioenescarlata.com). Alicia Platas (aka Alice Silver) and Paco Gómez Escribano made the introduction to the author and to her work. At the end, the audience could taste some German and Spanish wines and cheese.

Rosa Ribas captivated the audience with her charm, her ease of speech, her personality and her fine sense of humour. If, as some one said, Rosa Ribas writes as she speaks, I’m am sure she will provide us many enjoyable hours of reading.

I was delighted to meet some bloggers in person. I don’t mention any of them, for fear of forgetting someone. A real pleasure. I look forward to meet them again.

Rosa Ribas will present her latest novel En caída libre (At Free Fall) at Estudio en Escarlata Librería (A Study in Scarlet Bookshop), Guzmán el Bueno, 46 (Esq Fernández de los Ríos), Madrid, next Friday 4 February at 19:30. Alice Silver will make an introduction and Paco Gómez Escribano (no relationship) will discuss about her book.

Francisco Ortiz in his excellent blog Novela Negra y Cine Negro brings to my attention Rosa Ribas latest book Con Anuncio (Editorial Viceversa 2009).
Rosa Ribas (El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona, 1963) lives in Germany since 1991. Entre dos aguas (Umbriel 2007) was awarded with the Premio Brigada 21 for to the best crime fiction book published in 2007.
