According to Wikipedia the Petra Delicado novels have been published in various languages and are very popular in Germany and Italy.

Alicia Giménez Bartlett won the Pepe Carvalho Award for crime fiction in 2015. The Pepe Carvalho prize is named after the protagonist of the Spanish writer Manuel Vázquez Montalbán’s detective novels. Previous award winners include Francisco González Ledesma, Henning Mankell, P. D. James, Michael Connelly, Ian Rankin, Andreu Martín, Petros Márkaris, Maj Sjöwall and Andrea Camilleri, not a bad company.
