OT: Valle del Río Moros – El Espinar (Segovia)
The River Moros Valley, also known as garganta de El Espinar, is located in the Sierra de Guadarrama in the Central System of the Iberian Peninsula. It belongs to the municipality of El Espinar Segovia, in the land of San Rafael, in the Autonomous Region of Castilla y Leon, Spain. (Wikipedia in Spanish). I took these pictures last Tuesday.
Elmyr de Hory – Fake Project
I’ve always been fascinated by the work of Elmyr de Hory. He was one of the most infamous art forgers in history. He is said to have produced more than a thousand paintings, which were shown in museums all over the world, faking works by masters such as Picasso, Modigliani, Matisse, and Renoir. This exhibition, which brings together for the first time oil paintings and watercolours, raises questions about the concept of authorship in the realm of artistic creation. (Círculo de Bellas Artes)
The Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid will open its doors to the exhibition Elmer de Hory – Fake Project, from 7 February to 12 May 2013.
